ABOUT ME

I am an optimist. I believe that just like access to education, access to work and necessary skills required for it are also fundamental rights of all citizens. For the last decade, I have worked on policy development, programme implementation and development communication in the area of Education & Vocational Education & Training (VET).

I have travelled to BRICS nations and 20 other countries in Asia, Pacific, Africa & Europe on bi-lateral missions to study the best practices and forge partnerships. In the process engaging experts, teachers, trainers, employers, Government officials, apprentices, service providers and donors/funders. Of the many ideas that emerged from these carefully curated dialogues many have impacted young people gain jobs and regain dignity.

Skilling youth for employment is the urgent action amidst the migration crisis, increasing automation and accelerated pace of jobs being added each year. Driven by this and my belief that young people all over the world deserve an opportunity to chose their careers freely, I have passionately pursued my ‘Skills for All’ mission, working to aggregate stakeholders and designing solutions.

Currently I am advising institutions especially on the topics of “Internationalisation of VET”, “Dual System of Training”, “Investing in Skills”, “Future of Skills & Jobs” and EdTech.

Every small step today is the giant leap of tomorrow. So I would like to hear about your story, your dreams and the solutions you are working on.

Hope to hear from you soon!
